EDM HASHTAG BANNED BY INSTAGRAM FOLLOWING GUIDELINE VIOLATIONS
Social media giant bans hashtag following guideline violations around nudity.

The popular hashtag for EDM has been banned by photo sharing application, Instagram, the social media company confirmed yesterday.
The ban means #EDM can no longer be searched by users in association with photographs uploaded to the popular phone application.
Gabe Madway, an Instagram spokesperson, said, "In this case, #EDM was being used to share content that violates our guidelines around nudity."
The Instagram blacklist is well-known and was recently reviewed by the social media giant, with the application unblocking over 100 hashtags.
Hashtags still on the banned list include #nude, #weed and #iPhone.
