Fresh Kicks is DJ Mag's brand new mix series that aims to shine a light on the very best up-and-comers from around the globe! The first of our newly-founded Fresh Kicks crew is Snacks — AKA quirky New Zealand/German duo Rene Corbett and Aljoscha Babel.
The Berlin-based pair have been championed by the likes of Prosumer, Detroit Swindle and UK favourite Ben UFO, thanks to their epic breakout tune ‘Purdy’, plus a stellar new release on Push Music entitled ‘You And Me’.
Not just DJs and producers, the duo also perform their brand of housey analogue disco totally live, using an impressive combination of percussion and vintage synthesizers.
