H-ARTISTRY KL 2014 DELIVERS A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

Featuring Paperplane Pursuit, CREAM, MKTO, Tinie Tempah & Imma *Bleep* Youup

So you want to throw a massive party? Well first you’re going to need space. A lot of it. Where you ask? Malaysia International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC) in Mines Resort City - that’s where, and with about 180,000 sq ft., that’ll just about do it.

Now for the peeps behind H-Artistry, this translates to a lot of different possibilities. I mean the last The Global Art of Mixing party which was held at Penang was incredibly successful and well I just want to say thank you because you knocked it out of the park again with H-Artistry KL 2014.

From the laser-filled countdown launch and savouring Hennessy V.S.O.P signature long drinks, to the mixing of Western and Eastern genres that would never happen otherwise, it is obvious that the parties under H-Artistry, The Global Art of Mixing – is not one you should miss!

First of all, great line-up just for the diversity we were flooded with. For starters we got CREAM from Japan, who got their fans pumped with their very unique J-Pop and R&B mix, which got the crowd excited, as well as an unsuspected few like me, who don’t normally pay attention to this particular genre.

Then we got a taste from our boys at PaperPlane Pursuit with their catchy tunes, setting the mood for the stellar night that is to come. All this then followed by America’s MKTO with an energizing set, that built up to a collaboration with PPP that left the crowd amazed as both groups performed a stunning rendition of Michael Jackson’s Black or White.

With the stage set, the warm welcome that Tinie Tempah received was not a surprise to us. Commanding the stage with a tight high-octane performance, Tinie’s ‘Written In The Stars’ took the crowd’s energy to the sky – leaving it to ImmaBleepYouUp to bring it back to Earth, only to experience once of their famous “erffquakes” – resulting in a sea of fist-bumps in the air.

We are now certain about two things, H-Artistry KL 2014 is certainly one that will play in our minds for a while, and with that, I raise my glass to the organizers and here is hoping you’ll top this the next time around!
