RIO MUSIC CONFERENCE'S INITIAL 2015 LINE-UP

South America's largest music trade show announces first details

Rio Music Conference (RMC) has just unveiled the dates and speakers for its 2015 summit. Set to take place 4th-17th February, the conference will see leaders from across the music industry speak on panels during the first half, while the second half of the event will include a festival.

Speakers announced include Joy Division's Peter Hook, YouTube's Vivien Lewit and Bill Kelly, co-founder of Winter Music Conference (WMC) in Miami. Speakers will discuss everything from entertainment to business and market growth.

Meanwhile, Tiesto and Showtek are set to perform during the five-day carnival portion of the festival — with more names still to be announced. 

In addition to the conference, Rio will also participate in Club Week. RMC attendess will enjoy discounts and advantages at dozens of clubs across the city. With 32 clubs participating in last year's Club Week, RMC hopes to see even more join in for 2015.  

RMC 2015 marks the seventh year of the conference, which is the largest of its kind in South America. The main conference will take place at the Petana Rio Atlantica Hotel and Marina da Glória. With 120,000 people expected to attend the conference, carnival and club week, RMC 2015 is sure to be a giant event.
