TOM & COLLINS MILLLER SOUNDCLASH ESSENTIALS

Listen to the five tracks that won it for the Mexican duo

Last month Tom & Collins, a duo from Mexico were crowned as the first ever Miller SoundClash winners; after an incredible set at the live final at Marquee Dayclub in Las Vegas. These are the five tracks that helped win over the judges on the day.

Route 94 feat. Jess Glynne 'My Love (Dirty Twist Remix)'

"We really like the original version of this song and always enjoy what Route 94 puts out there, but this summer we were travelling around Europe and this track became our summer anthem. We were lucky to come across this bootleg made by Dirty Twist which has the right amount of energy. We had to play this song because we felt like it has the perfect vocals and sound for a daytime summer set which was perfect for the Miller SoundClash final!"

Don Diablo 'AnyTime'

"Don Diablo always has the recipe to get you dancing, we feel like he is one of the artists that can find the gap between underground and EDM sounds so we felt like it was the right way to start off a set so that we could work the crowd up.

We also picked this song because we edited the vocals and changed the lyrics a little. This was a competition powered by Miller Genuine Draft so we changed the lyrics from "house time is anytime and anytime is house" to "house time is Miller time and Miller time is house" which is the brand's tagline so we think that gave it a good element of surprise."

White Stripes 'Seven Nation Army (White Panda Reboot)'

"We really like the vibe of some rock songs and we know by experience that the right one can bring some good memories out of the crowd and become a dancefloor banger. This is why we always like to mix some Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Nirvana, Arctic Monkeys or on this case The White Stripes into our sets. This track can make people sing  and dance 'ohhh ohhh ohhh ohhh ohhh ohhh ohhh' and the fact that The White Panda did this Reboot  just made it impossible not to play it on our set."

Tom & Collins Vs. Jorge Nava Version 'Born To Fly Ft. Sofía Casson'
"Sadly we cannot give a link to this song just yet because it is one of our new unreleased singles, but we think its definitely worth mentioning because the fact that we played original tracks in our set might be one of the reasons why we got the judges' attention. The track has that uplifting EDM sound but we are also releasing deep house and club versions."

Jewelz & Sparks vs. Jason Derulo & Snoop Dog 'Wiggle Kingdom (Tom & Collins Mashup edit)'

"We think that as a DJs you need to have an idea of the country and culture of where you are playing. We knew Las Vegas and specially a club like Marquee are very international but we also knew how big hip hop is in the US so we decided to give another surprise by dropping a mashup that goes from 128 bpm to 100 and back to 128 bpm to make it entertaining. Jewelz & Sparks did a great job with their song 'Kingdom' and that drop is the reason we made this mashup, and lets face it, we all dance to Jason Derulo & Snoop Dog Wiggle track when it comes on so we thought whey made a good combination.

This mashup can't be found anywhere but we decided to give you guys a Private link to give it a listen."

Ummet Ozcan - SMASH! (Original Mix)

"It was not fair to give you guys 4 links for the price of 5 so we also wanted to mention another track that we played just because we know how Ummet Ozcan sounds can get a party going. this song helped us smash Marquee Dayclub's dance floor!"
