TOP 100 DJS 2014: THE WILDCARDS

With Miller Genuine Draft

Earlier this week we focused on the major contenders for 2014’s Top 100 DJs crown. But which DJs could be the surprise additions be in this year’s poll? Which artists, riding on a wave of hype and social media support, are tipped to make debuts in 2014? We teamed up with Miller Genuine Draft to let you know!

DISCLOSURE
Brotherly duo disclosure have come a long way. Their seamless transition from UK underground stars - and Best of British winners - through to global pop sensations, has been nothing short of extraordinary. Top 100 DJs is a uniquely global poll, so with a growing international audience, the Brighton duo could be set to crash the EDM party.

DVBBS
Yet another brotherly duo, Canadian’s Chris and Alex Andre may have only been around for a couple of years, but their impact has been nothing short of breathtaking. Their biggest hit ‘Tsunami’ (in association with Borgeous - see below) topped the charts around the world and propelled them toward’s dance music’s top table.

QUINTINO
Dutch EDM DJ, Quintino fell just outside the Top 100 DJs in 2013 (landing at No.119), but has since had his biggest year to date. We were at Zouk in Signapore for his sold out show at the start of the year and were blown away by the crowd response to the Dutch don. His cheeky viagra-influenced campaign for new single ‘Go Hard’ has raised some eyebrows within the scene and his status is higher than ever. Will it be enough to help him break into the 100?

BORGEOUS
Miami based producer John Borger is another member of the nu-breed of EDM artists aiming to crash the 2014 poll. He worked with DVBBS (above) on ‘Tsunami’ and has since been in the studio with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, released on Sander Van Doorn’s eponymous label and even remixed Rhianna. Fine credentials indeed.

Voting closes at 11:59pm (GMT) on Monday 15th September, so if you haven’t already, be sure to cast your vote here!
