TUBE & BERGER'S 5 SECRET BERLIN HOT SPOTS

The Kittball bosses hit us with some local knowledge...

Kittball bosses and regular guests on Spanish label Suara and UK imprint Toolroom Records, Tube & Berger get around. The jet-setting duo also spend some of their time in Berlin, though they originally hail from a small town called Solingen in Germany's North West. In the first of our new Hot Spots series, DJ Mag pick the pair's brains to find out their top five secret spots in the German capital.

Tube & Berger's latest EP 'Dis' is out via Suara and you can catch them live at SW4 festival in London this weekend.

DUDU
Torstrasse 134 10119 Berlin
"Our favourite restaurant in Berlin is DUDU's which is located at the Torstraße. It has a great mix of Vietnamese, Thai and Japanese cuisine, friendly staff and a cool interior to make this place very special. On the weekends, DUDU's is very busy so you should make a reservation. Be careful with the red hot chilli peppers served with the soup!"

Kater Blau
Kater Blau Holzmarktstr 25 10243 Berlin
"There are a billion clubs in Berlin and it's so hard to pick a winner but for us it's Kater Blau which is run by our friend Dirty Doering and his mates. These guys managed to keep the Bar 25 vibe alive and even put some extra coolness on top. The lights and soundsystem are off the hook and whenever you are looking for new innovative music, Kater Blau is the place where you will find it. Just don't forget to go home..."

Ruf-mich-nie-wieder-an
Choriner Str. 12 10119 Berlin
"One of the cosiest places in Prenzlauer Berg and our favourite bar, cafe and meeting point is the Lass Uns Freunde Bleiben, Choriner strasse. This place smells like holidays, the atmosphere reminds us of a small village cafe at the sea. No matter if you need the perfect breakfast, just a coffee or an after work drink in the evening, this place offers it all. It is a very understated and surrounded by a secret hype — the prices haven't change for years!"

Odessa Bar
Torstraße 89, 10119
"If you want to start the night or you need to end it somewhere just for that very last drink that everybody needs sometimes, no place is better than Odessa Bar. It's where Torstr. meets Gormannstr and Mitte meets Prenzlauer Berg. It's always funny, not too posh has good drinks and pretty girls."

Katz Orange
Bergstraße 22, 10115 Berlin
"If you need some excellent food, a nice garden place in the summer and even more pretty girls, then we recommend you should try to get a table in Katz Orange, Bergstrasse.  The atmosphere is endearing, we love the interior and if you try the Duroc Pork, which has been in the oven for 12-hours, you know that life is good!"
