TWO WOMEN DIE OF SUSPECTED OVERDOSES AT HARD SUMMER

The deaths occurred on Saturday at the Californian festival

Two women have died of suspected overdoses after attending Californian festival HARD Summer over the weekend.

The women, aged 18 and 19, were admitted to hospital on Saturday evening after being found unresponsive at the festival site in Pomona.

HARD Summer, that takes place each year in Los Angeles County, clocked an attendance of around 65,000 for each of the festival's two days, with temperatures soaring to 32 degrees celsius throughout the weekend.

The deaths follow a similar incident at HARD Summer's 2014 event in South El Monte when a 19-year-old woman died of an overdose.
