COSMIC PINEAPPLE TOUCHES DOWN AT PIKES IBIZA

Ibiza has long been touted as a spiritual place, and now new party/wellness brand Cosmic Pineapple is aiming to combine spiritual healing with raving at their new mini-festival this September. It’s all kicking off at Pikes Hotel four times throughout the month — there’s a healing area, where a yoga class will be held in the afternoon, alongside energy workshops, consciousness talks, card readings, massage, astrology, nature workshops and more, running 4pm until midnight.

Daytime activities will be soundtracked by music around Pikes’ famous poolside decks, alongside healthy food and drink options for vegans and veggies. There’s also an outdoor cinema to enjoy, and a cosmically-themed night market — Once Upon A Time are taking it over — with stalls from local arts and fashion sellers on the island. Once the clock strikes 10pm, it’s time to get down and boogie with exclusive DJ sets from some of the island’s biggest names, running across two rooms from midnight until 4am.

“I have worked in Ibiza since 2003, promoting parties and music — Cosmic Pineapple will not only have music from some of the best selectors on the planet, but it will also be an imagination-fuelled, consciously-planned creative wonderland for you to explore, learn from and enjoy,” Cosmic Pineapple founder Kim Booth tells DJ Mag Ibiza. “Cosmic Pineapple will merge the music and magic side of Ibiza, with some of the island’s healers and teachers also coming to share their energy and wisdom. Ibiza doesn’t have to be pure escapism, it is the island of transformation, where anything can happen. Cosmic Pineapple is designed to expand awareness, to connect, to create, to feel joy and to experience something you maybe haven’t experienced before!”
