GARDENS OF GOD ANNOUNCES HIS OWN LABEL, SODAI

First release 'River / Ghost' is set to drop Friday 23rd September...

Lithuanian producer Gardens of God has been on a meteoric rise since his first release back in 2014. Heavily supported by the likes of Maceo Plex and his Ellum imprint, Minidaugas Lapinskis (aka Gardens of God) has today announced the creation of his own imprint, Sodai.

The creation of the Sodai label arose as an outlet to release his own music at his own pace. As he explains, “[Sodai will allow me] to experiment with my sounds and create an ongoing project that gives me the freedom to style both with art and music”.

The label’s first release come from Gardens of God himself and will be a two-track affair  the a-side ‘River’ sees Lapinskis blending low-slung sci-fi-infused tech-house alongside the producer’s penchant for wide-angled atmospherics (which he’s been honing for years working on music for both film and television) for a peaktime club monster.

The b-side, ‘Ghost’, is a little more laidback, as chugging basslines wrap around lonesome synth stabs, for a club weapon that Lapinskis' more melancholic side.

'River/ Ghost' will drop Friday 23rd September via Sodai.
