GLASTONBURY SELLS OUT IN JUST 30 MINUTES

The mega UK festival sells out at light speed once again...

UK festival Glastonbury went on sale yesterday, with tickets selling out in just half an hour. But despite this year's fast sell time, 2014 still holds the record for the quickest sale of Glasto passes, with 120,000 tickets blitzed in just 25 minutes.

As usual, there was plenty of complaining on social media about technical difficulties and long wait times, with ticket website See Tickets crashing after just fifteen minutes, stating that they were “currently processing the maximum possible number of transactions per second”.

For those who missed out, the final chance to nab tickets will be in the official resale by the festival next year — a ballot by which people can reauction unwanted tickets.

Rumours are also circulating that next year's 2016 edition will be headlined by Coldplay, who are currently working on their seventh album. Lead singer Chris Martin and the band have headlined the festival three time before — first in 2002, then in 2005 and 2011.
