‘Chasing Pavements’ gets the SBTRKT treatment
Adele's latest track 'Hello' is one of the fastest selling singles of 2015, and now the much-loved UK singer is on track to send her album, titled '25', platinum.
It's an impressive return for the Tottenham-born singer with her album currently No. 1 on iTunes in 106 out of 119 countries, selling a whopping 300,000 copies in the UK alone when it dropped last Friday.
It seems a good time, then, for SBTRKT to release his own ode to the talented songstress — he's dropped a previously unreleased remix of Adele track 'Chasing Pavements' via his Soundcloud.
The remix was originally commission by the UK's XL Recordings and was supposed to break around the time of Adele's debut LP '19' back in '08. More than seven year later, you can now listen to SBTRKT's bass-heavy, mostly instrumental version of 'Chasing Pavements' below.
