Jeff Mills has launched a new sub-label, Str Mrkd, from his own Axis Records.
The Detroit techno pioneer has named Str Mrkd after his 2014 track of the same name, and the label's accompanying, as-yet unreleased four track 12" will also bear the title. The label has promised that the four techno cuts will be "new thinking for a new time". Record shops have claimed that the EP is arriving soon.
Axis Records has been home to Mills since he founded it in 1991. Check out our list of the legend's most defining moments.
