The mau5trap boss gave the first glimpse of his Cube 2.1 when he performed material from his new record, ‘W:/2016ALBUM/’, ahead of its release on Friday 2nd December.

Deadmau5 is taking the new Cube 2.1 stage set-up out on tour next year, starting his US dates at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom on Wednesday 29th March, before a relentless schedule ends in Chicago at the Aragon Ballroom on Friday 5th May.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Deadmau5 revealed that he thought EDM died in 2015. That was after he was announced as one of the new artists joining BBC Radio 1 for its Residency series in 2017, alongside Eats Everything, Helena Hauff, Jessy Lanza and Metrik.
