Korg confirms release date on Gadget for Mac OS

Korg have confirmed the launch date for their Gadget production software for Mac OS.

It will be released on 28th February and sold via Korg’s new Korg Shop, however the cost of it might surprise potential owners, coming in at a introductory price of £159 then rising up to £240 - bearing in mind that the original iOS app clocks in at around £40. This makes it quite a pricey offering, pitching it in the price range of other major DAWs.

Obviously Korg are looking at Gadget OS as their flagship music-making application and it will be interesting to see how it develops over the life of the product - could it be the next Ableton Live?
