Novation announces new polyphonic synthesizer, Peak

It's set to debut at Berlin's Superbooth later this week...

Novation are set to reveal their all-new polyphonic synth, titled Peak, later this week, with the well-loved brand due to exhibit at European tech conference, Superbooth, in Berlin.

The new synth will be the brand’s latest flagship product for 2017 and is being described as an “eight-voice desktop polyphonic instrument with three New Oxford Oscillators for each voice.”

The oscillators have a completely analogue sound, but gain the flexibility of the digital domain with seventeen digital wavetables, making for a very versatile-sounding synthesiser.

The synth also comes with reverb, delay and chorus effects, alongside an onboard arpeggiator and a host of other cool new features.

Novation’s Peak can also connect to modular systems via a CV modulation input, and has MIDI I/O on five-pin DIN ports, so other MIDI gear can be connected and can be hooked up to you Mac or PC via USB where unlimited patches can be saved using the Components software.
