Adding another feather to his already bulging hat, producer extraordinaire Diplo has signed to Next Model Management and wants to become a model.
The Major Lazer don has signed to the same agency that looks after the likes of Kate Upton and Anna Cleveland, and according to Women's Wear Daily has "just always wanted to be a supermodel”.
“We, at Next Management, have a huge appreciation for those who use their gifts to affect culture in a positive way,” Next founder Faith Kates said on signing Diplo. “As fashion is representative of the collision of all pop cultures, we are confident that Diplo's insight into culture and prowess in music will resonate with brands.”
The Miami-born producer has always had his own style and with millions of fans on social networks his signing represents an interesting opportunity for brands that are looking to further fuse the worlds of art, fashion, and music together.
