Movement Torino locks in Sven Väth, Nastia, Jeff Mills and more

Movement returns to Italy...

Movement Detroit's sister festival, Movement Torino, returns to Italy this October and the first phase line-up looks huge, featuring the likes of Sven Väth, Octave One, Sonja Moonear, Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Nastia and many more.

This year's festival will be a little different than last year's edition, instead of one event there will be two main shows on October 28th and 31st at the former Fiat factory building, Lingotto.

There will also be a run of smaller events during the week before the festival, called “Halloweek", from 25th — 31st October.

The first wave of names announced for the shows includes French house trio Apollonia, techno titans Ben Sims and DVS1, who will also play together for the first time ever.

Elsewhere, you got the likes of Cobblestone Jazz, Chris Liebing and Davide Squillace. Detroit pioneers like Octave One (live), Jeff Mills and Derrick May will also play the festival, too.

Then you've got the likes of Len Faki, house originators Lil’ Louis and Mike Huckaby, Cocoon label boss Sven Väth, Cadenza’s Luciano and Swiss star Sonja Moonear.

There will also be some special lectures on issues around dance music at the Politecnico di Torino during the week, too.

Tickets for Movement Torino can be bought here.
