Previously known as both The Medicine Bar and The Custard Factory, The Factory Club was first built by Alfred Bird and Sons to produce his world famous custard in the 1880s. Whatever its name, since 1995 the venue has provided an underground retreat for those looking to escape the bright lights of binge-drinking beacon Broad Street.

Recently expanded to include the converted Victorian warehouse of Space2, open-air marquee spaces, as well as the old 'Med Bar' space, the roster of talent and promotions passing through the venue is also growing exponentially with Sven Vath's Cocoon, Dillinja and Lemon D's Valve Soundsystem, Bigger Than Barry and Annie Mac and Friends just some of the recent acquisitions.
