Coda
| NEW ENTRY

Just over two years since opening its doors, Coda has developed a loyal weekly following, meaning getting into the club's premiere events often isn't easy — it can be a tough Coda to crack (groan! — ed).

After outgrowing former underground hub, the now defunct Footwork Nightclub in late 2014, owners moved their operation to a former rock venue offering three times the capacity and flipped it into Toronto's alluring dance mecca, without skipping a beat.

Over the past 12 months, underground demi-lords such as Maya Jane Coles, Loco Dice, Claude VonStroke, Nicolas Jaar, Jackmaster, Black Coffee, Maceo Plex and Tale of Us have stepped into the newly designed booth with over 15,000 watts of PK sound, plus over 55,000 watts covering the rest of the club’s main room and lounge. Going out in north of the border just got far hotter thanks to this haunt’s encoding.
