ABODE and Do Not Sleep announce Thursday residency at Amnesia, Ibiza

Taking over from the legendary Cream in the weekly slot...

London party promoters ABODE and Do Not Sleep will be taking over the Thursday night residency in Amnesia, Ibiza this year from 14th June to 27th September.

The announcement comes shortly after it was revealed that longstanding trance and EDM party, Cream, would be leaving the venue after a 23-year stint to start a new residency in Hï. ABODE will be setting up shop in the venue’s Terrace while fellow Ibiza party brand Do Not Sleep will be co-curating the nights in the smaller club space.

In an announcement made via Facbeook, ABODE wrote, “When dreams become reality. ABODE Thursdays at Amnesia. We're so proud to be able to call this our new Ibiza home. Words can't describe how excited we are for this one."

No line-ups have been announced yet for the run of 16 parties.

ABODE have been on a stratospheric rise lately, announcing earlier in March that they would be hosting their first international festival this June on Gozo Island, Malta. They have also recently been heavily involved in a charity initiative in Uganda, the ABODE Project. After crowdfunding and a series of sell out events, ABODE used the money to help build an orphanage and a school in the western part of the country.

It's shaping up to be an exciting year at Amnesia, with Elrow set to return for a residency this summer and a new party, Pyramid, set to replate Cocoon in the weekly Monday slot.
