Above & Beyond reveals new all-inclusive trance festival is in the works

“What we’re talking about here is an all-inclusive weekend in a beach paradise...”

Above & Beyond have revealed that they have a new all-inclusive trance festival in the works.

In a message posted to the Above & Beyond-dedicated subreddit, r/AboveandBeyond, last week, the group shared details regarding an “all-inclusive weekend in a beach paradise.”

The new festival is inspired by the trio’s successful ABGT 250 show, which celebrated the group’s 250th episode of their Group Therapy Radio show with a two-day festival at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA, USA, last September; the event marked Above & Beyond’s first multiday ABGT-dedicated show.

“Since ABGT250, we’ve been dreaming up ways to recapture the magic of bringing fans together from all over the world for unique experiences,” read the Reddit post. “To create spaces where you can meet like-minded people and escape the outside world for a few days.”

“To be clear, what we’re talking about here is an all-inclusive weekend in a beach paradise: food, drink, music and 100% fun times all included in the price,” the message continued.

While not many details have been released yet, the group alluded to the potentially higher ticket prices associated with the destination festival.

“We are working hard to keep the ticket prices as low as possible and ensure that payment plans are available,” read the statement. “That said, this event will be significantly more expensive than your average A&B show. Pricing will be in a range you might expect to pay for a 4 night all-inclusive stay at a resort - around $1500 - 2000 per person plus flights - except in this case you get music all weekend from some of your favourite artists.”

The festival will include a beachside performance from Above & Beyond as well as label showcases from the group’s Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep imprints, plus some “very special surprises,” according to the post.

Fans can expect more event details once they become available, said the group.

News of the forthcoming festival comes on the heels of Above & Beyond’s recently announced Anjunabeach festival, set to take place at Huntington State Beach in California this weekend. The trio also announced details regarding its upcoming ABGT 300 show and live stream, which sees Above & Beyond heading to Hong Kong for the first time ever this September.

In other news, Above & Beyond recently shared their new track, ‘Red Rocks’, and released their acoustic documentary, ‘Above & Beyond Acoustic – Giving Up The Day Job’, via iTunes worldwide. They also recently uploaded a live recording of their acoustic set at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles from 2016.
