Acoustic Control Room
KRK Releases ERGO™, Powerful Room Audio Correction System

There's no disputing that a great sounding studio room is better for mixing than a boxy little bedroom with ringing resonances and peaks and troughs in the bass response. So the ERGO; Room Audio Correction System, from KRK Systems looks to be an intriguing solution for producers with less than desirable mixing quarters. ERGO is an acronym for Enhanced Room Geometry Optimization and it claims to be able to 'improve any studio mixing space by correcting for "real world" acoustic problems.'
It also acts as a nifty little volume controller for the speaker system, it's due out in April and is expected to carry a price tag of around £399.
