Adam Sheridan Launches Label

DJmag.com fave Adam Sheridan has started his own record label...

Despite the fact he's still only 23-years-old, Adam Sheridan's DJ career is blossoming.

The trance DJ from Leeds has now launched his own label Soundstage Music, which he will use to release his own tunes and music from artists that represent his sound.

"The direction and sound of the label will represent the music that I play out," said Adam.

"There'll be trance and techno, as well as dirty house.

"If I fall in love with a track despite what genre it is, I play it and the same goes for my writing and producing in the studio.

"I have a strong belief in never writing the same record twice!"

Adam has achieved more than most DJs do in their entire career.

In DJmag's Top 100 DJs Poll last year he narrowly missed out on breaking into the top flight (reaching number 102).

He played on Paul van Dyk's Vandit float at the Berlin Love Parade last summer, and at top dance festivals Creamfields, Mayday, and Dance Valley.

He is doing more than most trance DJs when it comes to pushing the sound forwards, especially in his DJ sets, where he uses laptop DJ programme Final Scratch with three decks.

He's also into performing live re-edits on the CDJs.

The first release on Soundstage will be from Adam himself – 'La Fiesta' (out 12th March) is his first single in nearly nine months and it is an electro-inspired trancer.

Yet more proof that Mr. Sheridan is pushing the trance music envelope forwards.
