Want to be one of ten lucky young musicians (who is already studying sound at university, or is an up and coming electronic music producers) who wins a week of tutorials in Berlin by top musicians from within the industry including Detroit legend Carl Craig, DJ and super producer Ewan Pearson and Scape Records founder and mastering enigneer Stefan Betke?

The AKG Scholarship Of Sound provides a rare opportunity for participants to develop a greater understanding of sound, music production and audio engineering under the guidance of highly respected artists, music producers and music professionals.

The search for candidates is now open with students and producers invited to submit their applications.

The deadline for applications closes on 30th April 2011, after which the applicants will be judged by an industry panel. The winning scholars will be announced in May with the scholarship, flights, accommodation and living expenses covered by AKG.

The lucky winners will take part in the scholarship from 30th July - 6th August at the Berlin AKG Studio. The students will take part in audio workshops and mentoring sessions taught by some of electronic music’s leading artists and professionals.
