This year’s DJmag Top 100 DJs Awards party — powered by TID Pro — will take place in Amsterdam for the first international event in its history.
As well as the established, epic UK party at Ministry Of Sound (stay tuned for details), on Thursday 20th October, we’re throwing a humungous shindig in conjunction with leading electronic music conference Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), featuring one of the biggest line-ups of all-time (to be announced soon), at the 3,000-capacity, sleek Passenger Terminal, one of ADE’s flagship venues.
We’ve also hooked up with Get Real, who launch their new energy drink on the night, and from 10pm-5am, the venue’s glass walls will echo to the biggest and best beats in dance music today.
Breaking the news on Dutch radio station 538 last night, DJmag editor Ben Murphy said, "We are always looking for new ways to keep the Top 100 DJs poll fresh, and this is our boldest move yet. Amsterdam is a city where dance music is incredibly strong, so it is a perfect time to host the awards in the city".
For those who don't know, The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is one of the leading electronic music conferences and the world's biggest club festival for electronic music. Taking place from October 19 – 22, the event offers a unique blend of daytime conferences, including interactive workshops, technical demonstrations and in-depth round-table discussions, alongside a nighttime music festival with performances of over 700 DJs & acts at 52 venues around the city. The annual event attracts 3,000 business professionals and 130,000 festival visitors from all around the globe. And it now also hosts the world's biggest dance music awards party too!
This one will go down in history. Don’t miss it!
