The Top 100 DJs Awards 2011 will be taking place during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) on Thursday 20th October, the first time it is taking place outside the UK. events of the year.

Tickets are €25 in advance from http://www.top100djs.com/tickets

Current world’s No.1 DJ Armin Van Buuren will be playing at the Top 100 DJs Awards Party, as will top international DJs Markus Schulz and Fedde Le Grand. They will be joined on the night by French house DJ David Guetta, and the award for the No.1 DJ in the world for 2011 will be announced. This event is going to be LARGE on every level.

In conjunction with the Get Real energy drink and Trackitdown, the party at the glass-walled 3000-capacity will be a sell out – so clubbers are being urged to purchase tickets early. As well as the award for the No.1 DJ in the world, other awards will be dished out to Highest House DJ, Highest Trance DJ, Highest New Entry and so on.

The awards are the culmination of weeks of voting in the poll, with clubbers from most countries in the world voting for literally thousands of different DJs from across the globe. The votes have been counted and verified, and the definitive 2011 list – and the No.1 - will be unveiled.

As well as the awards and some blinding DJ sets, the event will see the launch of DJmag’s partnership with Dance4Life, the awareness charity giving young people information about HIV/AIDS. All profits on the night will go to the Dance4Life schools project, while Dance4Life ambassador Fedde Le Grand will be one of the DJs spinning on the night.

Said Fedde:“When you talk about Dance4Life, you talk about dance and music. Dance4Life uses dance and music as a way of getting young people to take action to halt the spread of HIV. No charity can exist without support, so as ambassador of Dance4Life I am very happy that DJmag is now supporting Dance4Life. It's great to see that these two organizations that are so important to me come together to reach more people and raise money to solve this worldwide problem - a problem that can be easily prevented. Let's unite to create a better world!”
