ANDY C TO HEADLINE NOZSTOCK 2014

Drum & bass don confirmed for Herefordshire fest

Ram Records head honcho Andy C is set to play this year's Nozstock: The Hidden Valley Festival this summer.

Running from August 1st — 3rd, Nozstock will see the drum & bass heavyweight take over the Cubicles stage on the Saturday night, with MC GQ providing lyrical support.

Joining him on the bill are a selection of the finest DJs in the UK, including Shogun Audio boss and Radio 1 host Friction, 'technical jedi' James Zabiela, natural born junglist TC, Calyx & Teebee, Jubei, and the champion of the old school, Uncle Dugs.

Famous for his three-deck mixing technique, Andy C is the highest-ever-ranking drum & bass DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll. As well as solo releases and his work as part of various collaborations (Origin Unknown, Ram Trilogy), Andy C's 'Nightlife' mixes have become one of the most popular compilation series within the genre — and beyond.

Now in its 16th year, Nozstock is a family-run affair, taking place on a farm in Herefordshire in the heart of the English countryside. This rural backdrop doesn't stop them from exploring all areas of urban and electronic music, however. This year sees Roots Manuva flying the flag for UK hip-hop, whilst elsewhere funk, breakbeat, tech house and of course drum & bass will be on display.

Tickets for Nozstock are on sale now. More here
