Antiworld festival launches!

The latest entrant in the dance festival calendar has been announced and it's a killer.

The license for the Antiworld 070707 has just been granted, and this debut festival is shaping up to be one of the best of the year.

Taking place in a secret location just outside London to maximise the rave atmosphere, on Friday the sixth, Saturday the seventh and Sunday the eighth of July, Antiworld will host a truly international selection of the finest live acts and DJs.

Live acts will include renowned Israeli psy-trancers Infected Mushroom, who'll be cranking out their hi-octane, blistering live show, Parisian techno rockers Black Strobe playing selections from their imminent debut album, electro breaks titan Radioactive Man banging the box, and improvised funk, house and more from unpredictable festival stalwarts, The Bays.

As well as a very strong trance DJ line-up, Antiworld promises to cater for minimal techno, electro, breaks, drum and bass and hard house heads in equal measure. The selection of DJs is second to none, with American trancer Christopher Lawrence, French electroids Digitalism, breaks bovver boys Freestylers, techno freaks Green Velvet and Josh Wink, eclectic heroes Layo & Bushwacka, d&b nuts Pendulum, hip hoppers Herbaliser, Detroit minimalist Robert Hood and hard houser Nick Sentience to name just some the diverse selectors on show. Stages will be hosted by clubs such as Atomic Jam, Chew the Fat and Pendragon amongst many more.

There will of course be camping options available, and with a capacity of 15,000 and eight stages, Antiworld promises to be a wild weekend. Tickets are available now from www.antiworld070707.com, and are selling fast, priced at £100.
