Arcadia unveils enormous new stage design, Pangea, at Glastonbury

The structure includes a sculpture called 'Museum of the Moon'...

Arcadia have revealed their new stage design, Pangea, at Glastonbury 2019.

The Pangea stage structure, which features a 50-metre high crane that can be seen anywhere from the Worthy farm site, has been designed to replace the seminal Arcadia Spider from previous years of the festival.

“It’s quite crazy and hard to describe, but it’s going to carry a moon and circumnavigate the Earth which is at the base of the tower" Emily Eavis told NME, "It’s going to have fire and music. You know, a whole line-up of brilliant music and classic Arcadia pyro as well.”

Carl Cox b2b Jamie Jones, Charlotte de Witte, The Black Madonna, Bicep, Andy C and more will perform at Arcadia's Pangea this week.

This isn't the first Arcadia show to be missing the spider, with Ultra Miami also missing the structure this year.
