Audiofly are designing a watch in aid of marine conservation

“It means everything to work on a project that puts the safeguarding of our oceans at the forefront ”

Spanish house duo and Get Physical Music associates Audiofly have teamed up with bespoke watch specialists Titan Black to design a wrist piece for charity. The unique collaborative project is in aid of Pelagic Life, a non-profit marine conservation trust set up to protect the biodiversity of the ocean.

50% of profits from each sale of the very limited edition Rolex Milgauss will go to the Mexico-based charity’s cause. Audiofly are also heavily involved in work combating ocean pollution with their Stay Plastic Free campaign.

“It means everything to work on a project that puts the safeguarding of our oceans at the forefront and might ultimately inspire other people to be more environmentally conscious,” they said in an official statement. “We live in an age where picking a cause that resonates with you has become of paramount importance. More importantly the process has made us much richer people with a wider perspective. Knowledge empowers you and we have experienced it first hand. We would love this project to have the same effect on the people we are presenting it to and ultimately cause a chain reaction across the scene”

In 2011, Pelagic Life launched the Open Ocean Safari, which aimed to create a sustainable culture of shark tourism which was more profitable for employees and safer for the ocean and its inhabitants. The charity is also in the process of designing a Sea Food app, which will help Mexican consumers choose sustainable and healthy seafood with local names and information..
