Australia is getting a new 5,000 capacity club, with this month's DJ Mag cover artist, DJ Koze, set to play the opening.
The venue, B3, will boot up in Melbourne's CBD on 27th September. Further details remain thin on the ground , although images suggest the space is an underground car park transformed by Novel, a promotions company behind several established Australian festivals, including Pitch Music & Arts Festival.
“One aspect sorely lacking in Melbourne’s nightlife is an inner-city location suitable for large-scale, indoor events,” Novel Director, Daniel Teuma, explained in December, when word of the opening first hit. “To ensure each occasion is truly special, B3 will only host 3 events per year and feature artists who have transcended their respective niches to become full-blown scene icons.”
