Bass invaders!

Glade festival's killer drum & bass day...

Intrepid junglists, take note: Glade festival has got the d&b sound sewn up this summer. The event, which takes over Matterley Bowl, Winchester from 16th-19th July, has announced one of the biggest festival smorgasbords ever seen for those who like their beats raw and their bass evil. The Vapor Stage, hosted on Sunday 19th July by Exeter's Rinseout, has invited many of the genre's big wigs to blast out their sickest jams.

Ram Records main man Andy C, Brazilian beat king Marky, Dutch dons Noisia, Breakbeat Kaos boss Fresh and South London's funk freaks Cyantific are invited to the party, alongside original jungle innovator Phantasy, whose old skool set will be entitled 'Jungle Story' and is destined to take seasoned ravers and new heads alike on a crash course through the classics. Also manning the decks are Rinseout resident Maxxi P and DJ/club promoter Mr. Nice.

"It makes us very proud to bring together the scene's biggest names alongside some of the UK's most in demand breakthrough talent," commented Nice. "We handpicked artists who have done us proud time after time - bringing electric vibes and a real passion for the music."

Joining the drum & bass massive at Glade are some of the giants of house, techno, dubstep and more. Carl Craig, Adam Beyer, Moderat, Underworld, Juan Atkins, Digital Mystikz, Booka Shade, Squarepusher, Benga, Femi Kuti, Dave Clarke and Drop The Lime encompass just some of the talent on offer.
