Beardybox

The annual UK Beatbox Championship came to a conclusion at London Islington Carling Academy, on 8th June 2007.

Built up from a succession of six heats, the final saw seven hopefuls pitching their skills against last year's champ Beardyman, for the chance to win a Vauxhall Corsa.
"I don't think the competition was quite as hardcore this year," shrugs Beardyman, who won the title again - a bit of an understatement since the crowd was almost unanimously on Beardy's side.

"It's been like that in every battle since last year's contest, when it was a bit more equal. It was a bit of a slanging match and ego battle, but the judges ruled my skills overall."
