The ‘curator of goodness’ at Millionhands is one Tom Mangan, a producer in his own right who started the label when he was living in Berlin.
“I’d been making records for a few years and I was restless, I had the urge to do something for my self,” he reveals.
A friend designed his website for the price of a pizza and he persuaded another mate to build it for a small fee. Originally selling to friends and well-meaning relatives, until suddenly, out of the blue they sold their first tee to “someone completely unknown to us, a random person”, their connection to the dance scene is a strong one; current and forthcoming collabs include Wolf Music, R&S, Soul Clap, Visionquest and Crosstown Rebels.
