BETTER LOST THAN STUPID'S SUMMER TOUR

Buttrich, Tanzmann and Squillace take to the road this summer

Better Lost Than Stupid are set to go on tour this summer around some of the biggest European events.

The techno trio — made up of Martin Buttrich, Matthias Tanzmann and Davide Squillace — will be playing exclusive back-to-back-to-back sets at Kiesgrube, Exit, DC10, Welcome To The Future, Tomorrowland, Sonus, Creamfields and Movement Torino. They will also be playing for the first time in the UK at SW4.

All three artists have well established careers respectively. Tanzmann's label Moon Habour has showcased music from the likes of Sable Sheep to Dan Drastic and Ekkohaus to Luna City Express. Being resident of DC-10 in Ibiza, Tanzmann has helped shape the sound of what Ibiza is today.

Having been producing for over six to seven years, Davide Squillace is well regarded as one of the most exciting talents on the circut. His latest label This and That Lab (who have Philip Bader, Patrick Lindsey and Philip Bader all signed to the label) has become an imprint to watch for music aficionados.

Martin Buttrich, meanwhile, is one of the most consistently brilliant performers in electronic music. He has been a driving force in the community via his influence with Desolat, the label he helped establish, and his studio and production nous is universally respected among peers and fans alike.

All three have been good friends for a long time and following their first spontaneous set together at Electric Zoo back in 2010, the trio decided to formally pool their DJ and production skills into Better Lost Than Stupid. With the success of the past shows, it's clear that they are in high demand.

“Following our first planned show at DC-‐10 last August where we played back to back to back all night, it is obvious that we have something special when we play together," BLTS said. "Once again our individual musical identities effortlessly merged into one, and it was amazing to be able to share this with a club full of people. We have been in the studio writing new material, and now it is time to take the music and magic of the show to a wider audience”.
