I first came across the original hardware version in the 90's while doing a session with the guys from DOP. I'd been looking for a software version for some time and then found this one last year.
The original Mini Moog had no presets to store your sounds so you literally had to write down the position of each knob and switch on a piece of paper to store the sound you'd just spent hours creating!
With the virtual instrument you can store as many sounds as you like.
It's mad to think that I spent a lot of money on the hardware version and I never use it anymore.
