BREAKSPOLL 2013

Annual breakbeat poll voting kicks off.

Voting is underway this month in both the International Breakbeat Awards (Breakspoll) and the Drum & Bass Awards 2013. Voting in the former begins on 4th January and runs until the end of the month, while voting in the Drum & Bass Awards ends on 26th January — it began before Christmas.

Up for grabs in both sets of awards are coveted gongs such as Best DJ, Breakthrough DJ, Best Label, Best Producer, Best Album, Best Track and so on, and both have star-studded awards ceremonies with a whole raft of big names playing and representing.

The 12th International Breakbeat Awards take place on Saturday 2nd March at Cable in London, 9pm-6am. Dubstep funnyman High Rankin is presenting the awards, which will take place around 11pm as is customary, and Breakspoll will be pulling in the usual big line-up (tbc). Last year's winners included Krafty Kuts, A-Skillz, the Freestylers, Pyramid and more.
