CDR: Music of Tomorrow

One-off event at London’s Whitechapel Gallery on 7th October

CDR - the musical movement/club night run by burntprogress, the brainchild of producer/DJ Tony Nwachukwu (ex of Attica Blues) and film maker/DJ Gavin Alexander - sets up shop in Whitechapel Gallery on Thursday 7th October to hold a special event.

Responding to 'This is Tomorrow', a new exhibition of graphics, installation photographs and texts taken from the original exhibition that rocked the art world 50 years ago, CDR are asking for musical contributions inspired by the exhibition.

Entries will be curated by CDR's Tony Nwachukwu and played at the event, which will be held in the gallery’s café/bar and Gallery 3.

Gallery 3 will also be transformed into a 'bedroom' studio where visitors can flex their own musical creativity with the assistance of the resident CDR producers.

More music is provided by DJ sets from the CDR family and a special PA from Chicago house legend Robert Owens, who will be creating and performing a selection of his new and classic recordings.

Music of Tomorrow. The future of music starts here.

Tickets: £6 CDR community concessions
