Chaka Khan shares first track from new album, ‘Like Sugar’: Listen
With Switch on production duties...
The legendary Chaka Khan has announced that she will release a brand-new album on Switch’s new label, Diary Records.
Khan hasn't released an album since 2007’s ‘Funk This’ and for her latest long play, she's enlisted Switch on production duties.
Since leaving Major Lazer in 2013, Switch has largely been working with his partner and collaborator, Sara Ruba, who co-wrote the first single off the Chaka Khan's new album, 'Like Sugar', which you can hear below.
The track was actually released for Record Store Day last month as an extended mix which then picked up support from the likes of Horse Meat Disco and The Black Madonna.
In addition to the video, there's also a rather fetching Switch remix.
