UK Festival Award winner returns for August Bank Holiday Weekend

As the 2010 UK festival announcements emerge thick and fast, Creamfields materialises with a line-up to rival every top dance music event of the summer. The UK Festival Award winners for 'Best Dance Festival' return to Daresbury in Cheshire for their two-day August Bank Holiday weekender. After the incredible success of last years sell-out show turning out a record-breaking 60,000 people, Cream headquarters have secured a multitude of exclusives and fresh performances from the absolute cream of the, erm, fields.

Global phenomenon David Guetta returns to make his main stage debut on Saturday, alongside Deadmau5, fresh from sweeping the board at this years International Dance Music Awards. Forefathers of electronica Leftfield play the now colossal 12,000 capacity Cream Arena while continuing the live tip is self proclaimed re-inventor of disco, CalvinHarris, who performs before Tiesto’s Sunday closing set on the Kaleidoscope main stage.

Cream Ibiza resident Paul van Dyk returns to host Sunday’s Cream Arena for an exclusive performance to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of his Vandit label. Following two sell-out shows at the legendary O2 Academy Brixton, the Swedish House Mafia return for a 3rd year to host their exclusive arena whilst Saturday’s show sees an array of performances from the likes of Alex Metric, Kissy Sell Out, one of the UK’s most in-demand DJs Switch, French hip-hop and electro DJ/Producer DJ Mehdi, plus a shed load more.

Radio 1 return to Creamfields this year to give exclusive coverage throughout the event broadcasting an array of live music.  Stay tuned to be the first to hear fresh announcements in the run-up to the festival.
