Deadmau5’s label, mau5trap, has released a massive new sample pack via music creation and collaboration platform, Splice.

‘Random Label Pack’ features 250 samples from various artists on the label’s roster including TTLAS, No Mana, BlackGummy, Rinzen, Matt Lange and Monstergetdown.

The massive selection of drums, percussion, fx and synth sounds is available now through Splice’s subscription service.

As of December 2017, and since its launched in 2013, Splice has raised raised $35m in funding and has paid artists $5m in revenue. Speaking of the service at the time, Splice CEO and co-founder Steve Martocci said, “Our vision is big: to transform the way musicians create and collaborate, to foster a culture of openness in music, and to uncover new revenue streams for artists through artist-to-artist marketplaces."

Deamau5 has been very busy indeed lately. Last week, he announced not one but two all ages shows to take place in Los Angeles’ The Wiltern. This comes along with the news of the release of his orchestral album ‘where’s the drop?’ on 30th March.

It’s not the first time Deadmau5 has worked with Splice. Last year, he launched a remix competition on the platform for his track ‘Let Go’.
