Deadmau5 announces second all-ages ‘Where’s The Drop?’ show

Bring your kids to see the man with a mouse's head perform with an orchestra...

Deadmau5 has announced another all-ages show for The Wiltern in Los Angeles in support of his new album ‘where’s the drop’.

Having teased “the most epic thing I’ve ever done with my music” over the past few months with various, snippets and clips, the mau5trap boss announced last week that his orchestral album ‘where’s the drop?’ would be released on 30th March.

Having already announced one all-ages show at the revered art deco venue for 1st April, he has since added another due to high demand. The new date will be the day before the previously announced show, on Saturday 31st March. As with the show on 1st April, this gig will also be streamed live via TIDAL.

Tickets are on sale now and you can grab yours here.

'where's the drop' is the product of an earlier project inspired by the seven deadly sins, '7', which deadmau5 began in 2014. Award-winning composer and musical director Gregory Reveret has developed the final score of the project.

Deadmau5 is just the latest in a long, long line of club-focussed artists who have worked with an orchestra. For more, just check out Jeff Mills’s work with the Montpelier Philharmonic Orchestra, or Sasha's Refracted: Live
