DEADMAU5 HEADLINES LONDON'S SW4

The mighty Mau5 confirmed as Sunday night headliner

At the end of last month, the following teaser video appeared online (below). Dramatically and artistically shot, it started off suggesting that some monumental event was going to befall London this summer — like a UFO landing, or something equally epic.

Well, the video wasn't far wrong, as it's just been revealed that the big summer show that Deadmau5 will be playing is... the coveted closing headlining slot on the Sunday night at SW4!

The Mau5, aka Joel Zimmerman, will bring his amazing AV live show to SW4 on Sunday 24th August — the festival's traditional August bank holiday weekend. Deadmau5 has never played SW4 before, and this will be his biggest London show yet — in the slot previously held by the likes of Skrillex, Fatboy Slim and Pendulum.

This Clapham Common show will be the Mau5's only London performance in 2014 — and his first in London for two years. One of the big questions about his slot will be how much techno will he play alongside his staple electro-house fare? Deadmau5 has recently revealed that he'll be releasing techno on Richie Hawtin's label, M-nus.

As recently announced, Above & Beyond will headline the Saturday night, along with big hitters such as Sasha, Jamie Jones, Fedde Le Grand, Alesso, Arty, Magda and Markus Schulz.

And joining Deadmau5 on the Sunday will be Maceo Plex, Marco Carola, Skream and Netsky (live), with many more names still to be announced.
