Iconic Kings Cross club goes out in style

BEFORE the legendary Kings Cross Goods Yard club complex shuts its doors for the last time, there'll be a series of final roof-raising parties, and what better time for that than New Years Eve?

London's clubbing epicentre is being demolished to make way for new developments, but there'll be a last hurrah on 31st December at Canvas with a quite ludicrous line-up of killer DJs designed to raise the club to its foundations. Three club colossi have joined forces – Bugged Out!, Trailer Trash and secretsundaze – to bring us the best in their individual styles, and each will commandeer a room.

For many, one of the chief draws will be modern Detroit legend Carl Craig, who's been on fire lately with a series of epic remixes, and a show-stopping appearance at Space, Ibiza this summer gone. He'll be rocking the secretsundaze room along with super fresh Innervisions alumni Dixon, and of course house music heroes and residents Giles Smith and James Priestley.

Bugged Out! will be bringing the noise, with Boys Noize on the crashing electro tip, Andrew Weatherall delivering the iconoclastic techno, and Jo Jo Da Freq, Nadia Ksaiba and Matt Walsh also dropping some tough electroid grooves. Trailer Trash have secured We Love... resident Riton to rip the party a new earhhole, and he'll be ably accompanied by Hannah Holland and MC Chickaboo, Mikki Most, Cormac and Ian Robinson.

Tickets are available for a mere £24.50 (plus booking fee) from www.ticketweb.co.uk or from Phonica Records, Poland Street, London. Get down there and smash it!
