DEVIATION THIS FRIDAY

It's a sign of Benji B's restless nature and tireless schedule – encompassing his Wednesday night/Thursday morning Radio 1 show and non-stop club gigs - that we sometimes found it hard to pin him down when he was writing a colomun for DJ Mag.

One place you're always find him is at Deviation, his party which lands at London's XOYO this Friday (7th February), where Benji's showcases his diverse tastes, both through his own sets and his hand picked guests.

Having guested on his show this week, garage head and all-round expert selector Oneman will be showcasing just why he's held in such high regard, despite not having sucumbed to the producer-DJ paradigm. He's joined by Canadian beat maker Kaytranada, whose soulful fluency has much in common with one of Benji's heroes, J Dilla.

That's just room 1, with XOYO also hosting Hessle Audio's Joe, Yasmin and Black Acre's Romare.
