Diplo is producing the official 2018 World Cup anthem with Will Smith

This year’s Fifa World Cup anthem will be performed by none other than Diplo, Will Smith, Nicky Jam and Albanian singer-songwriter Era Istrefi.

The four way collab was announced via Will Smith’s Instagram when the actor/performer shared a picture of himself with Nicky Jam along with the title of the track, ‘One Life to Live. Live it Up.’

The track is set to drop on 25th May.

This, of course, isn’t Smith’s first foray into EDM territory. As much as we may try and forget it, last year, the star released the hilariously hopeless ‘Get Lit’. He also promised last year that he and longtime collaborator and DJ extraordinaire Jazzy Jeff had up to 30 more tracks waiting to drop...

Anyway, we’ll soon find out how ‘One Life to Live. Live it Up’ fares in the lead up to this year’s tournament in Russia.

Diplo meanwhile, has been busy collaborating with Labrinth and Sia as LSD and working with MØ again on the summery ‘Stay Open’.
