DJ Mag and Burn Residency set to host IMS panel with Nastia, Loco Dice and more

Plus Philipp Straub, Charlotte Cijffers and more...

DJ Mag and Burn Residency will join forces at this year’s International Music Summit in Ibiza later this month, to host a panel on how to become a successful touring DJ with international stars Nastia and Loco Dice.

The panel will be moderated by DJ Mag’s very own digital editor Charlotte Lucy Cijffers and will also feature Eóin Smyth (Game Over, Co-founder / Director) and Philipp Straub (Burn Residency, Head Mentor, Austria).

The annual IMS music conference has been a permanent fixture of the Ibiza summer season every year since its launch in 2008, with this year's event taking place from 23rd to 25th May at the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza.

IMS Ibiza’s co-founder Pete Tong describes the three-day series of discussions, networking events and parties as "an intense networking environment with the glamour and glitz of my favourite party island of Ibiza, but with a Back to Business ethos and leading into the official Ibiza opening party weekend".

This year’s conference will see house music legend Todd "The God" Terryl appear at IMS Ibiza for the first time for a Keynote Interview about his life and career in dance music, including his early years in New York.

Elsewhere, Honey Dijon will be joining the discussion Sexual Harassment in DJ Culture, an open and frank conversation about the realities of this issue in our industry and what we can all do to tackle it.

The Loop will be in attendance too, and will be discussing the benefits of harm reduction services at music events and will present recent findings of confidential drug testing at UK festivals and the impact of this service on attendee welfare.

IMS co-founder Pete Tong believes “tackling the issues and topics that matter the most to our industry is of vital importance to IMS and with our newly announced speakers we bring further expertise and experience to the summit.”
