DJ MAG & NILE RODGERS TEAM UP FOR FOLD FESTIVAL ON 4TH & 5TH AUGUST

DJ Mag to host stage in NY

DJ Mag is set to host a stage at next month's star studded Fold Festival, due to run on 4th and 5th August at the Martha Clara Vineyards in Riverhead, New York.

The brainchild of Chic co-founder and disco trailblazer Nile Rodgers, the exclusive stage — aptly titled the DJ Tent — will focus on both underground house and EDM, with Autograf, Bad Royale, Cevin Fisher, EC Twins, Eric B, Greg Cerrone, GTA, Lea Luna, Lenno, Q-Tip, Slander, Thomas Gold, The Martinez Brothers and Ultra Naté all tipped to spin across the two-day fest.

Fold Festival founder, Nile Rodgers said,  “The first day I walked into a disco and heard a DJ play Donna Summer with two turntables, my life forever changed. The quality DJs we have playing FOLD, will change another life too."

Fold Festival's bespoke line-up will also feature some of Nile's favourite acts across a slew of non-electronic genres, including country star Keith Urban and legendary rock band Duran Duran, plus Paloma Faith, Beck, Pharrell Williams and more.

DJ Mag's US Editor, Sarah Polonsky said, "I am honoured to partner DJ Mag with FOLD Festival. We at DJ Mag live and breathe dance music ... and Nile is our oxygen!"
