We met Dirtybird’s J.Phlip in Miami this year but our familiarity with her amazing mixes goes back further. Combining the lushness of deep house with the full bodied bounce of bass music, she’s played everywhere from Fabric to Space and as the superb ‘Fever’ – out this week on Pets Recordings – shows, she know her way around the studio too.
You can catch her at Fabric on 25th June alongside label boss Claude VonStroke (who she also recently collaborated with under his Grizzl guise) and watch out for a new Dirtybird EP dropping in July further spreading the sound of this hot new talent.
